The end of Week One, Day Two

Well the end of yesterday went well as well, I had jacket potatoe, a little pasta, bolognaise and cottage cheese for tea to use up the remainder of my points.  i still had four left at the end of the evening so i had some porridge with skimmed milk and sweetner.  really pleased, two days done well :)

Week One, Day Two in Progress…

So I’ve been swimming, 1500 meters in 50 minutes :) quite pleased with myself actually, unfortuantely there were too many kids in the pool for me to go any further… 10 minutes in the jacuzzi and I felt much better.  My blisters are still sore from yesterday though.  I did 30 minutes walking as well - that’s how i found out the blisters are still sore.

Doing very well food wise, need to keep at it a decent level, I’ve had breakfast and lunch so far today, for once, I actually remembered to eat.

I got some good tips today as well, a personal trainer told me never to eat for up to 90 minutes after exercising as the body continues to burn fat, also he told me to eat before going shopping, that way I wont want to pick and buy sweet stuff up while I’m there. :)

I’m happy for the time being though :) today’s going well.

Day One Food Diary

Okay so I didnt post this last night in case I had something else to eat later on.

I had an oats bar for breakfast - 1pt, for snack I had a crisps - 2pts, for lunch I had a banana sandwich -3.5pts and a jam sandwich - 3.5pts later on, for tea I had homemade beef chowmein 10pts…

Under on weight watchers points as usual, never mind.  I had lots to drink though, I normally struggle on fluids but at least I did manage that.  Exercise, will I did that parade which wrecked my heals, swimming today me thinks x

Week One, Day One - A New Beginning

Well, am up, just finished sorting out uniform for parade and had a shower… pulled all my hair back into a bun ready to get sorted.  Going to have some toast for brekkie to keep me going for the four mile march I have at 9.30am.  Am I ready for it, not really, will I do it?  Yeah, I have to it all comes part and parcel with the role of being a Sergeant in the cadet forces as an adult member of staff.

Next year I will be marching the Race for Life twice in one day with the cadets to raise money for cancer research, did it last year as well, unfortunately things got in the way this year and I haven’t done it.  Never mind, a new start to a new me.  Will be on my feet all day as we’re going straight from the parade to Sainsbury’s to bag pack and straight from there to the Sunset parade for Veterans day.

All for a good cause, am off to finish getting ready, have to set off soon.

Will update tonight when I get in. x

The Start of a New Adventure

Well, its not a new adventure per se, it’s one I’ve undertaken before, but I never got to the end of the path, I always give up half way and go back to the start…

Well this time I have a wedding dress at the end of it and as Ella called it, this is the start of Mission Possible!  with 29 weeks to go I am determined to do this and hopefully get somewhere :)  From tomorrows morning weigh in onto the march I will make a good start and then continue it x  well off for tea for now :)
