Week Two Day One

I know it sounds daft as there werent seven days in week one but i weighed in yesterday with my leader, i told her about the blog and she thinks its a good idea, in fact she told the entire meeting about it.  

My points have been dropped to 23 a day now, i think ill still struggle to eat that amount although i dont think ill have struggled that much yesterday,

Lets see, banana 1.5 points. bag of crisps snack at lunch, 1.5 points KFC for tea - this is why i was saving points, 2 breast pieces, skin and breadcrumbs removed, 3 points each - 6 points, original drumstick, 3 points, regular chips, 4.5 points, sugar free drink so okay there.  Total up until tea 3 points, KFC total 13.5 points.  Snacks later on, 1 bag crisps 1.5 points, one raspberry licorice bar, 1 point.  Total points, 19 (even with eating kfc i was low :( )

    Hi Kirstyanne

    If you are after dietary advice (you may not be of course !) then I would say

    What no veggies? and just one fruit.

    And the only other thing I would say is that theres a lot of salt and bad fat in crisps and KFC and too much salt and Fat is BAD - even if you are within your WW points.

    Did you lose anything on your weigh in BTW?

    its only been 4 days as i weighed on sat so i could update here, yesterday was the first time that i didnt have between 5 and 10 veg, i use a lot in all my cooking and i havent eaten out in over 5 months, decided that as i had a lot of driving to do i would point it and have a treat for once
    Im not particularly a fussy eater so when i cook the list of veg that gets put in is extensive, the thing my weight watchers leader said is that im bulking out my meals with not enough carbs and protien so am trying to get a balance, will be cooking a turkey stir fry for tea tonight x :)

    it is good to have a treat in a while as on my low fat one i shouldnt eat chocolate but i have just included it allowance. i would be tempted to savage the fridge if i banned myself from certain foods. def balance is what is needed and as for crisps i adore them, just eat the weight watchers ones.so carry on with your points and treat yourself every now and again thats my motto!
